Queen’s Speech is a hip hop dance exchange project funded by British Council International Collaboration Grants.
A powerful celebration of International collaboration, exchange and exploration, delving into the depths of womanhood, femininity, sisterhood and connection. Featuring Lauren Scott (UK) Olu Alatise (UK) Jessie O’Reilly (UK) Lema Diaz (PH) Xyza Ragunjan (PH) & April Tamon (PH).
The project shines a light on 6 celebrated female dancers. 3 from the UK and 3 from the Philippines. In early October the manila artist landed in London for their exchange, the culmination was performed on stage at Stanley Arts Centre to a sold out audience and incredible feedback.
