This weekend I walked for 30:37 hours to raise money for this charity to continue the work we do with young women in schools in Lewisham.
102.65KM/63.7 miles
144,639 Steps
278 flights of stairs
6,773 calories
The walk was utterly hideous from about 15k with steep hills and treacherous downs, burning heat and absolute exhaustion and I’m absolutely broken BUT I had two fabulous women for strength and the most beautiful landscapes.
I’ve raised an incredible £1096 ✨⚡️🙌⭐️✨

“I moved to London 4 years ago from Madrid, Spain. I’m passionate about freestyle street dance and gaining expertise in profesional sectors as teaching, receptionist and management roles. Currently, finishing a dance degree in University of East London where I will continue my academic dance fields.
As a woman who has been pursuing her education in a setting with little possibilities, I would love to help spark this enthusiasm and provide opportunities to the future female generations”

Dance and the community it serves are an integral part of my life, having not had companies such as b.supreme advocating for and providing educational and equal opportunities for women in Hip Hop over the years, my journey would not be where it is today.

“I have moved from Ireland to pursue my career in dance. I train in various styles, but my primary focus as of now is hip hop-freestyle development and commercial dance. Through studying Urban Dance in University I’ve gained interest in other sectors also, such as marketing and performing.

I was reminded today of the main reason why I set

I was reminded today of the main reason why I set up bsupreme affiliate @sisterhoodarts and that was to connect with other female producers in the hope that we could share ideas, best practices, experiences, funding opportunities and, hopefully, wine. I also wanted to feel supported and to give support to women who were no doubt feeling all the things we as women (sigh) feel in the workplace.
I’m working on research for a business plan and the same thing keeps coming up - Essentially, in a world where all women have to work twice as hard to gain recognition and equal pay, it’s essential that we build each other up, use our voices and champion each other ALWAYS.
So with that in mind, I’m starting a Producer Circle for self-identifying women producers. The aim is to create relationships to support our careers, foster interesting ideas and connections and create a sounding board for new work and collaborations.
